Set Design
Designing the set for Orpheus Joventut Clàssica.
Inspired on beginning of the - Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri - to create a conceptual curtain to frame the musicians of the string quartet.
Composed of three central pieces making reference to each one of the three beasts Dante encounters while crossing the forest to meet the entrance of hell.
These pieces make reference to The Wolf, the Leopard and the Lion.
Meanwhile on the sides, two curtains shape the scenario to close in symmetry as a theatre curtain would, making reference to medieval bands hanging from the ceiling on festivities.
Keeping natural and organic shapes to match the architecture on the room (which is a gem of the Catalan modernism architectural movement)
